בקצרה: פארשטיי לא אוספת, לא שולחת ולא משתפת שום מידע עליך. אין חשבון, אין הרשמה,
אין פרסומות ואין אנליטיקה. האפליקציה אפילו לא מבקשת הרשאת גישה לאינטרנט.
מה נשמר, ואיפה
כדי שהאפליקציה תזכור אותך בין פעם לפעם, נשמרים במכשיר שלך בלבד:
- ההתקדמות בקטעים — ניקוד, כוכבים ומספר משחקים;
- ימי הלימוד, לחישוב הרצף;
- ההגדרות — שפת הממשק, העיר (לזמני שבת ויום טוב), צלילים וחגיגות, ושעת התזכורת היומית.
המידע הזה לא יוצא מהמכשיר. מחיקת האפליקציה, או ניקוי הנתונים שלה בהגדרות המכשיר, מוחקת אותו לגמרי.
העיר שבחרת
העיר משמשת רק לחישוב זמני כניסת השבת ויציאתה, כדי שלא יישלחו התראות ותזכורות בשבת וביום טוב. היא נבחרת
מרשימה — האפליקציה לא ניגשת למיקום של המכשיר.
תזכורת יומית
אם הדלקת תזכורת, האפליקציה מתזמנת במכשיר עצמו התראה יומית בשעה שבחרת. היא לא
נשלחת בשבת וביום טוב, ולא ביום שכבר למדת בו. אין שרת התראות ושום דבר לא נשלח מהמכשיר; אפשר לכבות
את התזכורת בהגדרות בכל רגע.
גרסאות בדיקה
גרסאות בדיקה ללומדים (מסומנות "גרסת בדיקה", ואינן מופצות בחנות) רושמות במכשיר מה נעשה בשיעור —
הקשות, תשובות וזמנים — בלי שם, בלי מיקום ובלי מזהה מכשיר. הרישום נשלח רק אם הבודק לוחץ בעצמו
"שליחה", ורק למי שהוא בוחר. בגרסה שבחנות הרישום הזה לא קיים.
ילדים
האפליקציה לא אוספת מידע מאף משתמש, בכל גיל.
שינויים
אם המדיניות תשתנה — למשל, אם יתווסף בעתיד שירות שדורש חיבור — הדף הזה יעודכן לפני כן, והשינוי
יפורט כאן.
Privacy Policy — Farshtey

In short: Farshtey does not collect, send or share any information about you. There is no
account, no sign-up, no ads and no analytics. The app does not even request internet access.
What is stored, and where
So the app can remember you between sessions, the following is stored only on your device:
- your progress in each passage — score, stars and number of plays;
- your study days, to compute your streak;
- your settings — interface language, city (for Shabbat and Yom Tov times), sounds and celebrations, and your daily reminder time.
This information never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your device
settings, deletes it completely.
Your city
The city is used only to compute when Shabbat begins and ends, so that no notifications or reminders are sent
on Shabbat and Yom Tov. You choose it from a list; the app never accesses your device's location.
Daily reminder
If you turn on the reminder, the app schedules a daily notification on the device itself,
at the time you chose. It is never sent on Shabbat or Yom Tov, nor on a day you have already studied. There is
no notification server and nothing leaves the device; you can turn the reminder off in Settings at any time.
Test versions
Test versions for learners (marked "test version" and not distributed through the store) record on the
device what happens in a lesson — taps, answers and timings — with no name, location or device identifier.
The record is sent only if the tester taps "send" themselves, and only to whomever they choose. The store
version has no such record.
Children
The app collects no information from any user, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes — for example, if a future feature needs a connection — this page will be updated
beforehand, with the change described here.
